Moving Forward

I am pleased to have returned our site after its weekend offline. It took the team a couple of days, but the site has been relaunched successfully. Because we’ve changed servers, I doubt we will suffer any more downtime which has been a major nuisance over the past month. I do hope the new design is as pleasing as the previous one, to which we owe the former webmaster a great debt of gratitude. Thank you for your hard work.

As Think Condi has moved from a presidential advocacy group to a vice presidential one, a lot of folks from around the country have began to enlist their support. While some were hesitant about the presidential draft movement, those who fell off to other campaigns early on are returning to help advocate for Rice’s selection at the upcoming convention.

48% of republicans thought Rice was the ideal choice for the presidency in December. I would have liked to see a larger number, but there was competition with 10 announced presidential candidates who were polling just a little (I mean a lot) behind at the time of that poll. As I’m sure you know, this is evidentiary of the overwhelming support that she can bring to the ticket. Support that will help to solidify the chances of keeping the GOP in the White House.

Within an hour of reports that Rice was actively seeking the VP slot, we had so many visitors to our website that our server actually crashed. Once back up, we found several people had donated to our efforts, and even more signed up for our emails. How many other VP wannabe’s have gotten that much attention? Very few I am sure.

    Hello Rich

I have always wanted to see Rice in the White House and still think she can bring the cards of the Dem’s House crashing down. It’s not Bush’s war as so many come to say these days, it’s our war and she is the common sense surrounding it’s success. Many suspect she will not be chosen, but we can put pressure to bare since they don’t have to like each other (I’ve heard he would never choose her), but do compliment each other.

Here is my first stab at marketing the idea: The McCondi website for shirts http://mccondi.blogspot.com to buy shirts or bumperstickers.

I wanted to invite you to view a new Townhall blog that launched tonight with an article on Condoleezza Rice as the vice presidential candidate.

It can be found here: http://candidus.blogtownhall.com/
